I’ve done my research on this computer and I’m pretty confident in my choice of specifics. I’ll be doing a video review to help you see what this Mac Mini is capable of so you can get a good idea about whether or not it can serve your computer related needs.

The main reason I decided to go with the new Apple Mac Mini with the M2 chip is because of the price, and what I believe it’s capable of. I have an older MacBook Pro, and it’s slowed down on me when it comes to video editing which is primarily what I use if for.

All things considered, I think the new Mac Mini will handle the tasks I’ll be putting it up to, but I think it’s important to get one upgrade to make it suitable for editing high resolution videos. That upgrade is to the RAM.

The base Mac Mini M2 comes with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of Hard Drive space. The model I purchased has the upgrade to 16 GB of RAM, but I left the SSD with 256 GB. That being said, I’ll be using a high speed external SSD for my Mac, which I’ll share in the video review.

I’ll share the specific SSD I’m using, how I’m using it, and also the settings I’m using to make sure my internal SSD has a long life.
